Perfectly pink kit creation :)

Yaaaaaay I scrapped :D Sometimes its hard to find the time to do it now im running the shop so it always makes me feel fab when I manage to create something and like it lol I have listed all the new kits for May now so if you see something you like they are available now :) Ive had a little play with the Perfectly Pink kit.......oh my its pretty!I love the pink,cream and black combo with a dash of cream for good measure yummo :) I scrapped a piccie of my gorgeous hubby Al and I :) Im chuffed with how it turned out :D

A NEW kit and my examples :D

The "Game on" kit is perfect for boys/blokes :D It chockers full of Teresa Collins designs,LYB and more .........here are the examples I made :) If you'd like one click on the kit name and it will take you to the WP shop :)

I decorated a notebook for my Dad, he loved it :)

Ive been having a little play with a new kit that will be released on Friday at the cybercrop :D

The end of an era.....

Over the last few weeks I thought long and hard about my scrappy commitments and unfortunately since I started Wicked Princesses it has been harder and harder for me to give 100% to the CISters sketchblog so it was with a very sad heart that I made the choice to step down ......the sketchblog was my very 1st scrappy commitment and Ive been a sketchy for over 2 years so this wasnt an easy choice to make.The girls have now decided to close the sketchblog after the end of the month so it really is the end :-(

I need to say a massive thanks to the other sketchie girls that have been fandabbydosey to work with and always did and awesome job with my sketches *mwah*
Thanks Lana,Sara,Ali,Kerry,Hilde and Ilona for all your hard work and inspiration I loved working with you all *mwah*

So from next month onwards my sketches will just be at Wicked Princesses :-)

Almost there creations......

Yesterday I had a little play with the "Almost there" kit from the Wicked Princesses shop and these are what I came up with :) I added a few extra alphas from my stash but everything else is whats in the kit......

OMG I journalled :O lol

These are piccies from when Al and I drove back from Melbourne when we bought the tipper.......it was a loooong drive but we still enjoyed ourselves with lots of chatting and laughing :)

Thats all from me for now......cant show the layouts I did with the photos from last weekend yet ;-) they are going to be on some LO's for the next lot of kits :D i might show a sneaky peek later though ;-)

Far out I love this kit!Those little critters are so so cute and the mushrooms are made for 3ding :D
A couple of quick close ups :) The only extra I added was the scrap of green CS, the MLS and websters alphas....I like to do a mix of alphas on my LO's

10 years together.....

.....10 years ago today Al and I went on our first date :) We went to the movies then up to Mt Cootha.....far out it feels like yesterday!Cant believe its been 10 years already, time flies when you're having fun hey! Al and I just celebrate the wedding anniversary now but I think 10 years was worth celebrating so I made this for him as a pressie :) I dismantled this frame from the cheapy shop and gave it a new look by adding embellies and bits and bobs.....see the photos? I used one from a couple of months ago and the little one was our first photo taken together :) awwwww we where so young.......

We had a fab day :) I highly recommend Captain Burke Park at Kangaroo Point its gorgeous and was the perfect way to spend the day with Mum on her birthday :) We played cricket,Morgan roder her bike,Josh rip sticked everywhere and we had a yummy lunch :D Fabbo family day :)

These are the cards I forgot to upload from a couple of weeks ago that I made at Nic's place :) They where like little baskets so I put milky ways in Josh's and little eggs in Morgans :)

April kits @ Wicked Princesses

The mojo returned last night woohoo! I had an internet free day (not by choice....thanks little puddle!) so now the house is spotless and I scrapped :D I played with 2 of the new kits I designed for this month at Wicked Princesses :D

Heres a close up of the "Funky Floral" kit example .....look Peta I doodled :O see what you've started! lol

These papers are made for fussy cutting :D Love the fresh colours too they are nice summery colours :)
I had a play with " Away we go" too and oh boy talk about cutie pie boy papers! Love these :D

Josh was always all about his cars and trucks so these papers where perfect :D

Have you been to Wicked today? I love the start of the month lots of new stuff happening....new kit examples revealed,new challenges,new newsletter.......new Princess tryout!!Would you be interested in applying to be a Princess? If you are successful you will be working with Kirsty and I :D

Heres the details on how to apply:

During the month of April I am opening applications to look for another Princess to work alongside Kirsty and I for the next 6 months .To complete your application you will need to do each of the following:

*Wicked Princesses is a kit based store therefore I need to see what you can do with one of our kits.I'll be looking for things like -how much you can create from a kit (at least 2 layouts),your style and creativity.There are many kits available in the shop to choose from to buy to use for your application.

*Design a challenge- Each month we have monthly challenges and a cybercrop where each Princess designs their own challenges to set. Design a challenge and show me how you would set it. It could be a sketch,technique,colour challenge etc the challenge is up to you all you need to show me is how you would set it.


*Are you a chatter? We need to get to know you and therefore we need to chat to you on our forum.If you are new use this time to let us get to know you better.The successful applicant will be required to be a regular chatter on the forum.


*Answer the following questions:
1: What can you bring to the Wicked Princesses team?

2: Have you been on a design team before? If yes when and where?

3:Do you have a blog? If yes please let us know your blog address so we can visit your blog.

4:How long have you been scrapping?

5:Tell us about you! Family,hobbies,etc

If successful you will be entitled to the following:
* discount in the Wicked shop
* free kit sent out monthly to create samples with
* the opportunity to be part of a fabulous team

Please email your application including your kit creations to krissy_christieatbigpond dot com (witha @ instead of at and a . instead of dot -im trying to avoid spammers lol)

Applications close on the 23rd of April so our new Princess can be announced on the 1st of May.
