Chillaxin........

My nephew Josh and I always like to have a bit of fun and joke around with each other and his latest way to get a rise out of me is using the word "chillax" lol dont ask me why but it bugs me that word :$ so anywhoo he wrote it on my birthday card lol says it at every given opportunity and laughs so hard when I say " Josh! not that word!!" lol I was scrapping this LO yesterday at Nic's place and wanted to document that while his wrist was in plaster he had to relax and rest his arm and I said to Nic "Josh would say he's chillaxin" so she dared me to use my disliked word as the title lol Josh laughed when I told him :) The things Aunties do lol

I used the "Boys will be Boys" kit available now from wicked (there arent many left if you want one you might have to be quick ;-) )

The kit comes with an A2Z scraplet cogs strip and I trimmed it down to create this :)

I added some other alphas from my stash (only becuase I like mixed alpha titles :) )

Peek-a-boo and a sneaky peek ;-)

I went to the gorgeous Nic's house yesterday and scrapped the day away (after a fabbo hello of cuddles from the spunky boys Jakob and Sammy :D ) I played with the "Bots and Cogs kit" again :D Im hooked on these cute little bots!

How cute is this rocket brad! I was so excited when I found robot and rocket brads for the kits :D I dropped it on the LO when I was looking for something and thought "oooh that's be cute flying across the page...." I borrowed a tupperware lid drew some dashes and hey presto a flying rocket :D

And oooh whats this ?!? Could it be a sneaky peek of an upcoming kit ;-) I think it might be you know ;-)

I {heart} the Bots and Cogs kit!

Yesterday I played with the "Bots & Cogs" kit and I have to say far out this is a fun kit!I was really excited about this kit when I designed it and LOVE that I thought to make a matching poppie for the kit :D Anywhoo here it is using a piccie of Josh when he was about 5 or 6 :)

How cute is that robot stamp?!I love it and you can be guaranteed to see it again and again on my boy pages :D I did heaps of 3ding (I should buy shares in foam tape lol) but love how its come together......Hope Josh likes it too :)

OKies im off to have another play with the kit :D

Sketchday,cards and a big *mwah* to you

Hiya girls *waving* before I start my normal jabbering I want to say a massive thanks to all who left me congrats comments on my previous post *MWAH* I was astonished to see how many there where and reading them all made my heart smile :D Thankyou so very much lovelies I really appreciate it {huggles} You are fandabbydosey :)



Tadaaaaa its sketchday :D Which is almost my fave day of the week!I designed my sketch using some digi elements from Jessica Sprague and its a pretty "open to your interpretation" sketch so lots of fun to have a play with :D Check out the LO's the sketchie chickies Ali,Hilde and Kerry did using it over at the sketchblog........you rock girls!!

This is my example using the sketch :) Im not normally one for journalling but this paper Lana sent me to play with had lines and I figured why not fill them?! lol I took these photos of my ultra cool and spunky peep Josh at the end of last month and I have to say everytime I take photos of this kid he looks bigger and more grown up......slow down a bit man!!I added one of my denim poppies which work fab with any boyish LO's and did some distressing and layering.......I love how it has come together!

Have you seen Shimmerz???Have you bought any yet?? I bought some and oh lordy I am loving them!!Mine arrived yesterday and needless to say Ive already made 2 cards featuring them lol Wicked Princesses is the only store in Australia selling them and the girls have a sale on!!How fandabbydosey is that!You get to have some fab new product and at a bargain price :D

I used angels wings shimmerz on the butterfly and on the cuttlebugged pieces and also painted some onto the flower........its hard to tell in the pics but its a gorgeous delicate glittery prettiness :D
I used tickle me turquoise shimmerz and babys breath spritz to smoosh into the background piece and then stamped my butterfly stamps on top :D

LCA week 6 entry :)

This is my entry for the last challenge for the Lights Camera Action comp over at CIS :D This weeks poster for inspiration was pirates of the carribean......once I had finished drooling all over Johnny Depp (LOL) I went full throttle on the inks,paints and distressing and am sooooo pleased with how the LO turned out!Ive had this pic of Josh with his pet Lizards Rocky and Betty for ages and this seemed like the perfect excuse to scrap it.......the quote I chose to use for the LO was "Not all treasure is silver and gold" which is perfect for Josh and his beloved little mates who are now gone :( He will always remember these too..... I think Josh will love the LO :)

My lappy is off to visit the repair guy AGAIN *insert rolling eyes here* because it now wont let me watch DVD's or download picasa......its got me stumped and the repair guy cant work out why just by me expaining it so he needs to have it.....hopefully only for the afternoon.

Oh and before I forget I went in search of my photoshop software last night and its gone :( ......dont even ask how it makes me so mad.....so off I went in search of some free software I could use for my sketches,photo editing and to have a little play with and came across the free software GIMP it is alot like photoshop and Ive been having some fun fooling around with it last night and woohoo can use brushes with it too :D

Okies better go......I was considering wandering down to the shops to get some bits and bobs but its raining so Im going to make some PJ bottoms for Lyns and Morgan instead :D
