Flowers for sale!

Ok so the other day I had a play with some of my materials in my stash and I made some flowers and thought I might have a go at selling some :) All my flowers have been handmade with love by me :D

Here are some examples of my flowers used on scrapbook LO's and a card.

Denim flower perfect for boyish LO's or just as a round embellie :)

Large roses great for vintage LO's or for soft pretty pages.

Ok so here are photos of what I have available (Ive made a little stash of each )
Roses:
Large : $6.50 each pack (excluding postage and handling) for pack of 4 flowers ,
packs have 1 white/off white,1 brown,1 pink and 1 lilac.
(these range from 2-2.5 inches round.)

Small: $4.50 each pack (excluding postage and handling)for pack 3 flowers ,
packs have 1 white/off white,1 brown and 1 pink.(these are an inch to 1.5 inches round)Black sparkly organza,black,hot pink and pale pink :) Large :$6.50 per pack of 4 (excluding postage ans handling)
New colours added!!Cream,light brown,chocolate and black for the same price as the large pastel roses above :) Large :$6.50 per pack of 4 (excluding postage and handling)

Made from beautiful chiffons and silks so they are very elegant.

I think these would be gorgeous sprayed with a little glimmermist to make them sparkle.....ill have to have a play with that idea ;-)

Flower centres vary you could have a pearl,beads,vintage button or no flower centre, please specify your preference in your email to order.

If you order flowers they will be packaged in a snap lock bag before being posted in a postage envelope so they arrive to you in perfect condition ready for your next scrapbooking or cardmaking project :)

In case you hadnt guessed I love flowers.......who doesnt!?! I was in my sewing/scrapping room yesterday and had a little play and these are what I made :) I did some in other fabrics too....some denim and some gingham.I'm going to do some LO's/ cards using them and show examples.......Im considering selling them as packs, what do you think?Should I or shouldnt I?

I have recently joined Young Scrap birds and let me tell you these are a fandabbydosey bunch of chickies!!They made me feel so welcome! *mwah* you lovely girls :) This is my LO based on the fabulous Rach's sketch for the August sketch challenge its one of those "less is more"LO's for me but I wanted to focus to be the pic ....I think it works :)

I moseyed on down the road today and bought myself a copy of this months Scrapbooking Memories and lookie here Im one of the "portrait of a scrapbooker" girls this month!!How mega cool is that!!I did a little "thats moi" in Jodys shop (created by you Burpengary) and oops it was a bit loud LOL Just a tad stoked lol Plus in the same issue I spied a few fandabbydosey scrapping friends!I spy a LO by Tanya Tahir, Kerryn Lawson and as a sneak peek of next months issue a Lo by Manon Keir!Woohoo go chickies!!

I had another little happy dance moment this afternoon when I had 2 cards accepted by Scrapbook Creations yippee!!Never been published by them before!Very cool indeed :) Which reminds me I have to go and edit a few posts ;-)

Its a little bit different......

......ok its ALOT different to my norm but oh my it was fun!!This is my week 4 entry at the scrap twist challenge at 123 scrapbook :) This weeks was texture paste and the twist was it had to be on the background of you project,applied to one of more embellies and use 3 small photos.I chopped up a photo of me for my piccies :) I think I could easily become addicted to texture paste......this canvas reminded me of how much I miss doing my painting and drawing......I think I could get into this multi media stuff its so cool to do!!I used a mask to add the texture paste to the background (Tim Holtz ) and used some tissue paper to get the yummy texture at the bottom of the canvas.Heaps of sanding and inking and painting......I had mess everywhere (Including all up my arms LOL) I used the texture paste on my tag (and wrote the word then added texture by smooshing some scrunched tissue paper into it ) and onto my chippie butterflies-I stamped onto them while the texture paste was wet so they are nice and textured too.

Loved doing this it was soooo much fun!
Its back to normality in our house......awww why does a weekend away in the sunshine have to end? :( I told Al I want to buy a house near the ocean LOL need to win lotto first PMSL

Our weekend away :)

Al and I had a fandabbydosey weekend up the sunshine coast for our anniversary!The weather was glorious (as you can see in the piccies :D) we chilled out on the beach and had a lovely time just doing nothing lol The unit we stayed in was great the pool and spa where right outside our room so we had a late night spa last night under the stars very noice indeedy :) The room had a spa too and oopsies I added too many bubbles LOL they where starting to overflow by the time I was finished LOL We had a gorgeous brekkie of croissants on saturday and went to 2 different yummy restraunts for dinner.Friday night we has a seafood platter (hot and cold) from a place called M @ Mooloolaba and it was delish!Two of the waiters/waitresses where from Belfast :D Gotta love that!Then last night we attempted to find a teppenyaki restraunt but alas there wasnt one on the sunshine coast :( but we still had japanese from a place called still waters -Al loved the sushi and I wished I hadnt watched a show about yo yo dieting the night before.....apparently eating raw fish can give you hepatitis :O (OMG talk about putting me off eating it!Then again Al ate it so that kinda defeats the purpose of me not eating it LOL) I ordered a dish called ÿagatzumi"(sp?) shouldve written it down oops.....it was grilled yellow fin tuna with terriyaki sauce and OMG talk about yummy it was sooooo tasty!And,and,and I managed to eat the fish,rice and salad with chopsticks!!I know I was shocked too LOL Normally I get a fork or they do that thing with a rubber band like they do for kids PMSL

Anyway it was just fab to have some time away with Al and relax a bit.....it wasnt long enough but then again are holidays ever long enough? Cant wait for our next get away.....might start planning for that now lol it'll give me something to look forward to :D

Week #2 of the indulgence comp at Enchanted scrapbooking is all about our sweet indulgences and mine is .......yep you guessed it THE ICING ON THE CAKE lol It seriously a bad addiction I cant get enough of the stuff!!Invite me to a party where there is cake and you can be guaranteed I will be stalking the cake LOL I love wedding cake icing too mmmmmm wonder if Al would marry me again so I can have another cake.......:D I cant take the credits for the pic it was a royalty free one from the www :) As if they'd last long enough for a pic in this house!!

Al and I are off on our weekend away tomorrow yay!Sunny coast here I come lol its forecast for 30 degrees so Im packing the togs too ......warning if you live on the sunshine coast and see a woman with really white legs on the weekend say hi!Its probably me LOL My BIL has come back to QLD so he is on house/dog/bird sitting duties :) He has done it a gazillion times before so Im sure all will be well :)

Project fashionista!!

Hiya everyone check out the new comp at Wicked Princesses!!Karen and Tam have come up with this awesome comp with an even more awesome prize!!Wish I could enter lol Here are a few of the details

Designers, are you ready??? As you know, in fashion, One day you're in, and the next you're out ;)

Are you ready to strut your stuff down the Fashion Catwalk, and become our first Princess Fashionista??

Each week for 6 weeks we will set a new challenge, and you will have to design your catwalk creation using the criteria we set.

The challenge will start on September 8th


THE RULES

:arrow: You must register by September 1st to take part in this challenge

:arrow: The first challenge will be posted on September 8th

:arrow: You must create a gallery account (if you haven't already)

:arrow: A new challenge will be posted each Monday morning, with the finished design to be loaded to the gallery by midnight on the Sunday. No late entries will be accpeted

:arrow: All work must be original

:arrow: Work is not to be submitted for publication until after the competition closes

:arrow: A voting system will be used to determine who the top 5 finalists will be.

:arrow: You cannot post your LO into any other gallery until the completion of the competition.


HOW THIS WILL WORK

Each Monday a new challenge will be set. You will have until the following Sunday, 9.00pm to load your design into the catwalk gallery.

There will be 5 weeks of challenges, with a TOP 5 going through to our final round.

There will also be mini challenges along the way, with the winner receiving a rak

Voting will done via PM, with your top 3 votes being cast. You will have until Tuesday 10.00am to cast your votes, and you CANNOT vote for yourself

That's it. Pretty easy :)

Three years ago today......

I married my best friend and soulmate .....my gorgeous man Al :D

I made these for him as part of his stack of pressies lol The title of the LO is what I always tell him :) I framed it and when he opened the pressie he saw the kiss ticket and asked if he could use it now lol he loved it and the card :D






Im cooking a roast for dinner for us tonight :) We where going to go out but he is working so it wouldve been too hard with booking etc so we'll do something fancy at the weekend :D

This one was for a challenge to use rub ons but not on the paper or cardstock so the rub ons are everywhere else :)

because its bright here today!!LOL I love brights but havent used them in aaaaages so when I saw that enchanted scrapbooking where having a colourful cybercrop I jumped straight in!These are what I came up with :)

This is me at 19 with the gorgeous Joshy as a little bubba only about 2 months old I think (hadnt even met Allan yet!) Awwww wasnt he a cute baby!!I was working on this LO last night when Josh rang to tell me he won his kart races woohoo!!Seems like yesterday I was holding him like this and now he is calling me to tell me about how fast he drives his kart (over 80kms an hour lalalalala im not listening too scary for this Auntie!!) I'll quote him "I won this mega heavy trophy its soooo cool,and a $100 voucher and a shirt.Oh I got my first pink slip too bye Aunt"lol typical boy hates talking on the phone lol
"like the sky loves rainbows"I love my title!!and it fitted perfectly with Tiff's challenge to use rainbows on the LO :) Love this piccie of Josh and Morgan I took the other week.....my cutie pie peeps :)
This is another old piccie (can you tell I ran out of ink in the printer LOL) this is Josh's 4th birthday.....pretty sure it was could be his 5th though will have to check lol Love this piccie of Josh proudly posing on his new toy a slider with his Nanny and Grandad :D My fandabbydosey mum and dad.......no need to ask yes mum and I both had a go on it LOL

Our day at the Ekka :)

Al took me to the Ekka yesterday and we had the BEST time!!We laughed and had fun it was fandabbydosey!Got heaps of great photos (hence the collage lol) Al won me a massive pink teddy (AKA Pinky bear lol) in the shooting games :D I think Al thought he wouldnt have fun but he had a great time too :) He almost hit the top on the strong man thing.....I dont know what its called LOL I got a couple of showbags and a heap of little cuddly toys as prizes (won by Al I am hopeless at these things LOL) Al bought a remote control helicopter and a styre (sp?) anyway its the toy version of his fave weapon when he was in the army lol plastic ones are all that are allowed in my house I hate guns :P We stayed for the fireworks and Al used the little point and shoot and I gave the SLR a workout and we got a combo of awesome shots!!So happy!!Loved every minute of my day out with my gorgeous man .....thanks bub love you *mwah* xoxox
